Ott Tänak: "3rd place after day 1. It's been hard work to be at the front on the road, but new experience for me and very happy with the job we've done! We had a bit of push on the last stage and managed to gain few places so we can be pleased with our start position for tomorrow. I must say big thank for our estonian fans, as it feels like driving home and support is huge"

Movistar Espana to broadcast the second pass at 15:00 CET. arenavision 5-6
Guys don't be so sure what is on pace and what pace actually. It's the first day. Nobody is pushing at 100% now. Let's talk about Toyota at the second half of the season, when teams and drivers get to understand the cars, then we will begin to see who built what base package and who does well in the constant development process.

I will wait until the proper rallies of the season to draw my conclusions. Monte and Sweden and partially mexico are not rallies where you can see clearly the pace of the cars, unless of course you believe that Neuville can be faster that Ogier by almost 1 sec per km in equal conditions.
But then again for me rallying is more than just watching hairpins.
About toyota my opinion remains the same, a village nationalistic team of assorted nobodies with no future in this sport.

yes, after 2 very unique events in the calendar. Shows nothing for people with a functioning brain who watch the sport from a less than basic perspective.
To brag about toyota based on latvalas performance in sweden it would be equally stupid to bash them because of hanninens performance.
I am not expecting people to become smart, that is impossible, but at least stick to your own basic world and discuss basic rallying things like who jumps the longest at colins crest and wake up at 6 to go and watch a hairpin to see who pulls the handbrake and who doesn't.
