Accuweather is saying differently, lets hope this is correct forecast!..
Accuweather can't even get the 'nowcast' right. On Monday morning this week it said it was nine degrees but when I went out to my car it was covered in ice.

Drove the Vargåsen stage tonight. Nice conditions at the moment, 50% ice 50% snow. Not a lot of snow in the terain on the last section but the roads are in perfect shape. Forecast is shaky, but right now conditions are alright.

Except for sss in Karlstad. Down there they need some subzero days to get icy conditions.

Ok Karlstad doesn't look too good but the stages further north must still be ok going by pictures that are going around?

As said before it is not possible to say at the moment. Conditions could be great or they could be awful.
The current 10 day forecast says +degrees but again forecasts aren't that reliable for more then 1-3 days forward.
SMHI says that there is a chance of snow on Sunday, Tuesday and over the next weekend which if correct and if followed by
colder weather will make the conditions very good.

Perfect conditions are achieved by: a long stretch of cold weather without snow -> warmer weather with lots of "wet snow" -> lots of traffic on the road that will
compress the snow -> colder weather so that everything will be frozen solid. Then repeat steps 2-4 a few times and you'll have perfect conditions.

I can see from map that there is roads into it. Are these roads easily accessible by car or is this forestry roads closed to public?

Yeah it's the last one coming up from the south in the magazine map, haven't been there myself but it's not the widest road by the looks of it.

While we're at it, has anyone checked this road on Röjden? I'm sure it's closed since it's not marked as a entry road, shame since it opens up for some good spots without walking 3-4km.

Fun fact: where it says Torkil on the road i marked is where this clip of Henning in the Evo is from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NtOrkw6MgHk

I was looking different weather maps and I would say that there is nothing to worry about too much, yet. Worst scenario at the moment is Karlstad without a snow and a little bit bad conditions around Hagfors, but most of the other locations look good. But still long time to go!
