    Yes, because of his big 43,3 sec lead! If he would have lost 10 sec on the 1,9 km it would not have mattered at all! Everybody should know that concrete obstacles never forgive! Poor Thierry did not learn from the small but important mistake at RMC: Keep away from concrete obstacles.

    Neuville hit a concrete block first that was exposed by probably Juho Hanninen.

    Hyundai confirmed this to a Belgian journalist..

    this was not a stage, this was a spectator show.
    there was absolutely nothing to gain here. no power stage points, no big time difference. just a little bit a drifting for the crowd.

    the last time i saw such a stupid crash must have been poland 2009, when latvala binned it on the last SSS.
