If you wanna know good forecast, you have to use yr.no (which predicts lower temperatures and lot of precipitation so is quite pessimistic) then weather.com (which is quite accurate but only for short-time predictions) and also add wetter.com which is every time totally optimistic and predicts high temperatures. Finally make the average from these three sources and that is IT.

The weather in this region is changig very rapidly this year, 3 days forecast is almost reliable. Longer term, no way. Also snow dpth that is measured shown on the smhi site is based on the measurments on the open fields, reality in forrest is very different. I would not say anything yet.

Is it a genuine concern for the stages at the moment regarding weather? Or are we getting wound up over nothing? Ok Karlstad doesn't look too good but the stages further north must still be ok going by pictures that are going around?

Now the -5 that was forecasted next weekend has turned into +4 so nearly a week with mild weather is not good, but won't be like last year i think. For all we know it could dump down during the rally now because it's been a very dry winter, in Norway close to Lillehammer it has probably snowed properly twice and three rounds of rain on frozen ground so 5-10cm of ice everywhere.
