Like always, the early birds get the places. Also many people book from year to year, and have already agreed in february this year for next year... I was booking in the beginning of september and had contacted 7 places before there was enough room for the group. We're staying 15km West of Torsby, near the shakedown. Of course the place is already full now.

I just recognized on the Swedish Television news that a small lodge, Hedegårds Pensionat has been given notice from being immigrant camp. So if you guys without accomodation for Rally Sweden I give the advice to search for this pension as an alternative. Situated in Ekshärad but better stay is probably hard to find for RS 2017.

Finnskogen was my favourite stage of recent years, but the Norwegian stages are arguably the best of the rally at the moment. They are absolutely packed and the atmosphere on them is second to none.
Not to.mention, you can start the day in Sweden, watch the first few cars in Torsby, then take off for the two passes in Norway and still get back for the end of the field in Sweden (assuming the itinerary is similar to recent years).aka Rodger Davies

It's no people living there, or at the farm kalles "løvhøiden" its people, but it will hardly be someone stopping you if you are in a normal place. If you have, it's easy to go skiing into the forrest to find a good spot to watch, use a map to find a road to park, 2-3km on skis is quite fast. If you are used to skiing, of course

It was on qualifying stage, he rolled the car and it was said that he won't be able to start the rally. But team managed to repair the car and he did start and dominated drivers like Rossel, Gryazin...
