Border Rally organisers have been busy this weekend. Two new stages have been added on Fri night for BRC competitors. Now a 60mile rally. https://t.co/jmIjKDm7t4

You have to give them credit for being pretty pro-active and adding extra mileage. 60 miles is probably the absolute minimum any BRC event should be - and you'd only want 1 event of that distance.
In all honesty, UK rallying and the BRC needs a major overhaul to drag it into the 21st century. Quite how that would happen is anybody's guess - as a lot are stuck in the 70/80's.
Is there a better sound than that of Porsche engined Flat-6 ???

The BRC should be similar to the other British motorsport championships; BTCC, BSB, British GT.........Its nowhere near any of them. There was lots of handclapping & backslapping about the success of its return. To be brutally honest - its media coverage and interest from motorsport followers on websites/ forums was pretty poor.

New title sponsor for the 2017 BRC is Prestone, a coolant/anti-freeze company.

I thought Dmack said they weren't running any R5 cars in the series this year? Seems like the piece is speculating slightly.

No Keith Cronin at this weekends Galway Rally, the 1st rd of the ITRC.
Still rumours of a BRC entry but maybe just selected events.
He is well thought of by Malcolm Wilson too...
It's OK, it's a short stage! Remember the FIA and promoter reserve the right to completely fuck over everything we all know, enjoy and understand about this series and sport. Or, maybe they might...
