Final entry for the Manx is now looking a bit thin amongst the BRC crews however understandable I guess in these times of limited budgets. Maybe if its included in the ITRC in 2018 then things may improve.

A very big accident when the organisers speed limit on the recce is 30 mph (48 kph). Maybe that's what prompted the CofC to post an official warning about driving standards during the recce on the event notice board on Tuesday evening.

Maybe I spoke too soon, it's possible that it was even before recce, not completely clear

Matt Edwards keeping Cronin honest after 5 stages. Ahlin close in third but the rest already a minute plus behind.

Cronin clearly been pushing hard. Did this with an off on SS7.

He's pulled a decent gap on the other two. Edwards impressing again but Ahlin looks like he's just staying on the safe side to ensure the points ...

Round 7 winners are Keith Cronin (M-Sport) on Rally Isle Of Man.

Matt Edwards with a fine second place.

Championship leaders Fredrik Aahlin and Torstein Eriksen take third on round one. The pair now need a second on the final round.
