I dont know if it is the best solution. I dont prefer foreign events in national championships. Without any doubt, it is good step for Ypres, they will have better starting field. Only future will show if this is good step or not for others...

Pluto 'best solution' implies this development is in answer to a problem. Indeed it is, Ferry costs to Ireland are way more expensive than Dover to Dunkirk / Calais so to as BRC competitors to go twice to Ireland for very similar roads (Circuit and Ulster) seemed unattractive. Involvement with Ypres makes BRC so much more attractive as an international stepping stone so a win for Ypres and BRC but maybe long term ERC needs a re-think. Azores and Canaries both suffering (redux) the problem BRC has with Ireland.

Exactly! But it's not going to happen.

As for the BRC (the British version, not the Belgian one) it seems good news. I hope they improve their promotion; it seems this years Ulster will have a Rally Radio; that is what ALL events need. At this level, there needs to be standardisation; rather than the current disparate events that happen to make up the BRC.

Is there a better sound than that of Porsche engined Flat-6 ???

That I don't see happen at all. They tried that with Netherlands and Luxemburg and almost none was interested to go over the border.

Early picks for the 2017 title?

With another year's experience I have a feeling about Desi Henry. But then again he does have his Fabia up for sale...
