    What's up with the tyres on the Hilux, different tread on one side, I thought they could only run one type of tyre at Dakar?

    Didnt even notice that, likely just old tyres used for transport, if you look at the rest of the pics on that album you will see the cars are broken down quite a lot before shipment.

    I like how in the official website they uploaded pictures of all the competitors' veichles in black and white, who thought it was a good idea?? Absurd...
    Anyway, let's hope it'll be a nice competition.

    Frankly I finally lost my patience with the official website. The live timing is so strange and confusing that I follow nearly only the Dutch site and some tweets.

    Loeb takes the lead after ss02 by 30 secs... but this means nothing since hamburger boy can still lead him into a sticky situation like last year.

    yes its useless,while I was trying for half an hour to see results and could find till wp5 ,suddenly planetmarcus twitter had twitted complete stage2 results from same site.
    you have to try to confuss somebody, with just a result site.
