Another minute or more needed, 3 minutes by the end of the stage would be good.

Daniel Elena, disappointed.
Play the victory of the Dakar Rally, a Friday 13 ... (very) bad idea
We crash from the start of the ES2 and we have to change the wheel ... It is the law of the sport car, right?
We do not hide from you that we are very disappointed ... and especially for you. It's so great to have such support!
One thing is for sure, we gave our maximum during all this #Dakar, believe us!
Congratulations to Stéphane Peterhansel, Jean-Paul and the entire Peugeot Sport team! And what about Sébastien Loeb ... it will bluff me all my life that the

Stage victory but we wanted more. We gave everything, took half the delay on the first part. And then puncture at the beginning of the 2nd ...
The battle was nice, it's nice to fight for seconds. We could not do more. We were hoping it would pay

Bravo @s_peterhansel & Jean-Paul. Thanks @peugeotsport for the top job. And thanks to my @DanosElena. There was nothing to do with + # Dakar2017

So i guess tomorrow Peugeot will issue team orders and Peterhansel will slow down to let Loeb take the win right ??
That was the finish manager way back when they were strong in WRC creating paper champions that were decided by team orders or fishy cars to the competiton.
the french seem to take a different approach and let the best driver win, and that is why in a few years the french are top of serious motorsport and finish kids beg their masters for some tablescraps and they only way their drivers to actually drive is only through manager favouritism.

Peterhansel: "On the first 120 kilometers of special, it took us three minutes basically. On the second special, he was allowed to leave because he was faster, but after a few kilometers he burst. We said 'maybe it's our luck', we went ahead and we drove as fast as possible. We rode fast, concentrated ... and here we are. It's played in seconds, a few minutes. By attacking the second part, we were 2'50 'ahead of Seb. Knowing that it was a WRC track, we thought we were losing them, but his puncture gave us air. It is almost an honor to fight against Seb at the regular. It is hyper fast, on some places more than us. But it's still a rally-raid. "
Loeb: "We left super strong this morning, we recovered half the gap on the 100 km of the first part of the stage ... and in the two I crash in the first corner. I took a stone like a thousand! And then I stop, I change the wheel and Stéphane passes. After we attacked a bit in the winding, and from the moment it was dusty, in the fields, we let go. It's life, you can not do anything, it's like that. It's been two days since we had the knife between our teeth trying to grab some time. The fight had to end. The gaps are still too big now, I have already dropped in that one, we can not do much. "
