What has Mikkelsen done for such praise?! Others were clearly not on it and the only interesting thing out of this shakedown is the fact an R5 is 5 seconds off the pace from a new gen WRC, which I think is quite alot for a 3km stage.

It's not that much really - 4.2 seconds for 3.35 km stage makes it 1.25 secs per/km faster. With old wrc it was 1 sec/km I believe. But anyway there are various conditions here, so it is not real measurement.

Tänak finally does his dark run 2.33.9 , so in the dark when the conditions were more even maybe? the times were

    Ogier 2.33.0,
    Tänak 2.33.9
    Latvala 2.34.2,
    Breen 2.34.4,
    Meeke 2.38.8
    Lefebvre 2.44.2
    Hänninen 2.44.4

the hyundai drivers did their runs earlier so i cant include their times, same for Evans
