Normally they give the slowest time to all who didn't finish the stage, but the difference here is just 0,7 so they can cancel it - will be the same. Most important now is will they cancel the second stage (and the whole event). Live text in wrc.com says only this

Crews are being directed to Bayons - the start of Stage 2. The stage is due to start at 2257hrs.

I doubt he survived... If the promoter is starting to delete videos and being very hush hush about it that's a clear sign. Also Andres screen grab pretty much tell the story.
I fear this is a very dark end to the beginning of our season.
Wouldn't surprise me a bit if he was an acredited photographer. I have voiced my safety complaints about them before...
