Really getting the Ypres itch here. Considering a mad last-min trip down if a few things fall into place with work.

Are the Historic and ERC rounds requiring different tickets? Never been to Historic Shakedown before, but it's in my plan this year.

Let's take a quick look at the statistics - number of wins:

    ERC 2016
    -----------
    Ford Fiesta R5 - 2 wins
    Skoda Fabia R5 - 1 win
    Citroen DS3 R5 - 1 win
    Peugeot 208 R5 - 0 wins

    ERC 2015
    -----------
    Ford Fiesta R5 - 4 wins
    Peugeot 208 R5 - 3 wins
    Skoda Fabia R5 - 2 wins
    Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X - 1 win

    ERC 2014
    -----------
Ford Fiesta RRC - 4 wins
    Škoda Fabia S2000 - 4 wins
    Ford Fiesta R5 - 1 win
    Peugeot 208 R5 - 1 win
Mini John Cooper Works S2000 - 1 win

Don't get me wrong, I like Peugeot 208 T16, but numbers don't lie...
It has become better... It's not perfect but it is not what it used to be. Unfortunately it has lost speed when it gained reliability (or rather it hasn't gained enough speed)

No, with a weekend stage you can visite Historic shakedown/stages too.
You really have to go to the village of "Boezinge" Wednesday evening, very good atmosphere there after and during the shakedown.

I have never been to Ypres, but I saw Condroz, Boucles de Spa and Haspengouw and I have to say I love the atmosphere of Belgian rallying (and Belgian beer too!). So have a great rally guys!

If You have a chance try Ypres Jarek. It's great rally especially for everyone who loves crazy hi-speed places. Also the atmosphere in the town is awesome and the weather is wayyy better than in Condroz

Maybe, for first time in my Ypres history, there is a chance that I will be in Belgium on Wednesday, so I am thinking about attending the shakedown too...

Maybe we should do a forum meet? Wednesday evening or even better Friday before the start?
