In general I'm very excited about the route and schedule. A lot to study before the event. Also 43% new for drivers. Should favour drivers like Paddon. Also I like the early mornings. Potentially possible to do 9-10 stages in the rally.
Need to get info from you guys from now on. Where did he go that guy J... something. Did a lot of work preRallyFinland stuff a couple of years ago.

Ouninpohja reversed? Has that been so before? i cant imagine that place reversed where we were last year, drivers coming down with sequences of jumps and then turned to left, now they must climb up from there.

What spot do you talking about?
As senior member you´d know and remember 2008...

This is actually now more of an original version of Ouninpohja. Like Rallyper said, previous time they run the stage partly in this 2016 direction was in 2008, but then it was the small road Pitkäjärventie and only from Kakaristo to halfway Okskulmantie and they took a junction right to a smaller road (which again was used in 2014 the opposite direction). I think the actual Ouninpohjantie (with Yellow House jump) has not been run in this direction since mid 90s. Up until mid 90s it was mostly used in this direction, start of the stage being in Kakaristo junction. There were some years they run it from Hämepohja to Kakaristo (the 2000 format) in the historic year, like the year Timo Mäkinen had the bonnet of his Mini up.

And for sure Ouninpohja in this direction offers a great variety of different spectating points compared to opposite direction. Still the 150+ jumps and overcrests remain... It's also notable that Ouninpohja will be the first stage of the day, 1st run before 8AM. You have to be fully woken up not to lose 15 seconds - or the whole rally.

Sounds like a well-known place on the small road. Huttunen had an off there last year - or at least parts of his car were there after the rally.

Ruuhimaki will be reversed? I didn't see this in any of the announcement information?

thanks for the answers...to Rallyper...i have been to the rally only once and i didnt follow rally very closely after Märtin retired. 2006-2010 is kind of a dark time for me and i dont remember much from Märtin's era because i was so young then. Started following again when Tänak entered in PWRC in 2010.
