Nice quote from Kevin earlier in the weekend - "The front-right wheel is not running straight but we are rally drivers - we don't complain about things like that"!

Shame he never quite gelled with the car, but at least he finished without hitting anything this time!

I am starting to worry about Ogier, Germany is going to be pivotal, if he fails to win there then all it takes is a bit of consitency from Latvala (LOLZZZ) and we might have a championship fight.

I'm worried that he might win it 2 minutes in front of Latvala and Mikkelsen.

You can't claim to know everything about rally and then be worry about Ogier this year

It's a turning point for Ogier.
He went through a lot of stuff lately that shook him up - in a positive way. It takes time to wake up to the reality he is a father.
His life priority took a different turn overnight.
The good news is that this euphoric feeling fades away in time, same as falling in love and life goes on as usual and the desire for win gets back.

This guy is preparing to strike back!!!

I feel it in the air on that pic....

Great to have Meeke on top of podium again. He played the running order perfectly. Fastest WRC average time ever as well. Amazing, but almost scary to think what next year's cars will be capable of.
Very surprised to see Breen on the podium, I didn't think he had that speed in him, happy to be proven wrong.

Another last minute disappointment for Tanak. No doubt his speed is there, he just needs a little of bit of luck to carry him through. It will come.

Plus the top WRC2 guys were amazing, Lappi, Suninen, Evans, Tidemand etc. The next batch of WRC stars are raising to the top.

Also thanks to all who have seemed to watched the whole rally through camera viewfinders, the photos and YouTube videos are fantastic. Cheers!

When Mikkelsen was opening road, he was immediately 0.2-0.3 sec/km slower than he was when Ogier opened the road.
So if you look at rally results you can say that Ogier still has the winning speed. In every rally his loss is smaller than 0,3 sec/km.
And that is when you have to be second on road. Immagine what is the difference when you start 6 or 7 place.

Next year when the rules change, Ogier is back winning 7-8 rounds

You think the rules will change because one guy / team is complaining? Is that right?
