Renault 2016 Livery
It looks great but it would be hard to tell the difference between the Renault from a Maclaren at a distance. It hints at Redbull as well. I think they should have gone with a revamped version of the livery that Alonso won two world championships. Or at least do something with the yellow of the Renault racing Blue and yellow. Thats not to say it does not look great, just not original and too bland. It just doesn't stand out as it use to do in the past. It might reflect some level of intimidation of taking on a full works team status again in the face of Mercedes dominance. Whatever the case, it is not boldly french.

Not a lot of effort went into that it seems. They could have done so much more with the black and yellow. Though I would have preferred the old blue and yellow, it seems they just took the easy route on this one.
Then again, some of them don't look that great on release and then grow on me, or look better from certain angles and in the natural light.

Maybe they couldn't afford any paint?
Seems their launch wasn't really a launch at all, last year's car with a temporary livery...

They got the message that they got the livery wrong. Hence it looks like a change of livery is on the cards before Australia; see:-

I think the idea of car launch was lost on the new Renault Team. I hope this is just a blip, otherwise we are set for some entertainment from this team during the season :-)
