yeah but still something, at the moment no competition for Evans and i doubt there will be. He will win with one hand.

In normal conditions MR’s will be slower than R5’s, as it was already seen last year. But they're a nice solution for local drivers and teams to get a competitive and affordable locally built 4wd car.

Battle between Evans and Dominguez could be interesting. Pity no WRC2 to him.

This year they will be running the new 1.6 L turbo engine. Until last year, all the Maxi Rally cars were running 2.4 L NA engines.
Actually, it'll be the first time those cars are driven by 'proper' drivers. So far, only gentleman drivers ran it and their real potential couldn't be seen.
But, I think they are still a step behind the R5 cars.

No, I think I haven't made myself clear enough: only 'gentleman' drivers drove the turbo Maxi Rally cars so far.
The turbo engines Maxi Rally cars aren't eligible for point in the Argentine Championship, so the frontrunners (Villagra, Ligato, Baldoni...) aren't using them. This will be the first time they will compete with the 1.6 L turbo engine.

No one has whole picture, even Mikkelsen. And it's not courtroom, opinion that Mikkelsen's driving is disappointing so far isn't as ridiculous as you painted it.
