There's a Guy Martin/David Coulthard programme on at 9 tonight with some pre-F1 season larking about.

So, what did anyone make of the C4 coverage then? I thought it was a decent first crack but I'm still a bit undecided on Steve Jones as the host. I can't quite put my finger on it but he seemed to be putting on a false, extra-emphasising tone when he spoke. Did anyone else notice or is that just his normal speaking voice?!
It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.

That's Steve Jones' normal style I think. There were a couple of 'jokes' which seemed to hark to his T4 days (in tone anyway) that I don't think fitted. Other than that he did okay but I felt that he wasn't as au fait with the sport as either Humphrey or Suzi.
In general the coverage wasn't bad, although the sheer number of pre-race adverts wound me up. I'm still reserving judgment, will be interesting to see what it's like when they have a fully live race. You're so beige, you probably think this signature is about someone else.

Seemed like a carbon copy of the BBC coverage but with adverts.
Think I'll miss Suzi Perry. See had a great relationship with her co-presenters and a natural delivery.Tazio 14/3/2015: I'll give every member on this forum 1,000.00 USD if McLaren fails to podium this season!
