Is there any reason why are you convinced it is not possible? In my opinion those things about "Norway dreamteam" were just rumours at the beginning and same rumours about the end of the project. I imagine he was trying to say that the car wasn't properly tuned. Probably it used a dry tarmac set up, based on Haninnen driving style.

I've been thinking about that quote myself as well. Maybe it wasn't a real try to get him or he is trying to make excuses for the car; or maybe it was a simple case of hard to find a schedule so they put him in when they had a test and conditions weren't ideal. Without more info we will never know...

This is my thought too - they probably had a test planned for that time and place already, so they let him come and drive. It may have also been the only test that fit into Ogier's schedule.
