Exactly. And yes, in western part of latvia, 30+cm cover of snow, present just a week ago has almost melted now and for next week, forecasts are still showing positive temperatures.
So, even in forests frozen gravel will become soft. Further forecasts are not really to be trusted, but still it's very unlikely that cold will return for more than a few days here and there.
