On history? When was the last time when Swedish driver was competing in the ERC? Probably in the seventies? I think the Swedes have never been interested in the European Championship...

One Swedish guy is 2015 JERC champion, Jarek Anyway You are right that he was maybe alone in twenty years (I can remember only Jimmy Joge's 2007 season but that was in IRC, not ERC in that time).

Ok, there were more swedish guys in IRC campaigns (beside Joge it was also Patrik Flodin with Solberg's Fiesta or PG Andersson with Proton), last year in JERC there was Mattias Olsson, this year Mattias Adielsson. But northern drivers prefers more WRC as there is more gravel. ERC/IRC is more tarmac championship...

Organisers dont have so much money to be part of ERC. And that is one of the main reasons why organisers are not interested to joining ERC...

I would like to see Bouffier commit to a full(er) ERC campaign next year instead of picking and choosing a few events from both championships. As a privateer it would be very hard to repeat his Monte success in WRC again, but as Kajto proved a privateer can win in ERC. Bouffier has never won an ERC title, and frankly he probably should have.

What could be the calendar of ERC 2016 ?
I hope that it will be a round in Italy , maybe the 100^ Targa Florio .
I would like to see Lukyanuk to take part to the full ERC Championship , with Bouffier and maybe an Italian driver .
