Hi Guys, just wanted to let you know that we are taking the issue of bogey times seriously and are taking steps to manage this.

    Colin Clark ‏@voiceofrally
Great to see that the organisers of the Scottish will give us a proper rally. No place in rallying for bogey times.

I hope Mr Clark isn't too disappointed when he finds the Scottish will still have bogey times ;-)

Are they running it as an International and paying extra for the insurance? I imagine we're actually just looking at a last minute 'rally of a 1000 chicanes' style solution...

Would be quite interesting to know what the price hike is to run the event as an international? Might be something to aim for next season.

In an ideal world we wouldn't have them. But, being in the UK, we have to have them so events can get insurance. Which is something Colin surely knows.

Is there a better sound than that of Porsche engined Flat-6 ???

Events that are run all over the world don't need to have a level of insurance cover which satisfies the Forestry Commission though.

BTW do you actually know what autistic means?
You're so beige, you probably think this signature is about someone else.

Its a repetitive behaviour without meaning.... exactly what Bogey times are... because cars still go faster than the bogey time and they are awarded a time that means absolutely nothing, and because there are people like yourself that see a reason behind it we have to suffer.

I think you've outstripped yourself for being offensive, well done.

Don't really think that you should be comparing a serious condition to something as trivial as the timing on a rally. Maybe do some reading http://www.autism.org.uk/about/what-is/asd.aspx
