So it wasn't so much the organisers as the ridiculous rules imposed by the WRC on seeding? The same has happened with the BRC where young drivers in MS1 Fiestas have been running on the road ahead of WRC...it hasn't always ended well.

There have been drivers that have cost their employers but gone on to a degree of success. McRae and Solberg are two that were prone to accidents but went on to championships
You're so beige, you probably think this signature is about someone else.

Indeed a certain multiple French world champ had developed a reputation for binning it on WRGB (OK once deliberately) - Think 3 successive WRGB wins has put that one to bed!
Kris Meeke got fired -PSG so terrified they quit!

Hyundai has a similar one with sordo at testing... how hard is it for those thick skulled WRC promoters to give the people these things from manufacturer drivers ?? They either are that incompetent and stupid or they are just put there by someone to keep the WRC from blooming. They have that stupid WRC+ subscription which doesn't worth 2 cents to pay... if we had proper footage i would be willing to pay serious money to get the service.

Agreed. I don't know if it's the promoters fault or the FIA and their rulings around safety but every other sport is constantly pushing the boundaries of innovation in their broadcasting, with new camera angles, added microphones etc.
And it's even more frustrating that they can never give any justification or reasoning for their lack of action.

well Eyvind used it at an official FIA WRC event so it is not against the rules... the best WRC+ can do is stupid angles at 20fps.. pathetic.
