It's the bumps that annoy me in Greece, I think it's the main area where the game doesn't handle that naturally.
You're so beige, you probably think this signature is about someone else.

Some of the crashes I've had have been very "hollywood" with the car launching miles into the air off a small bump. Also noticed that some of the stage side signs are amazingly solid, but maybe I should just not hit them!

Really surprised that there hasn't been more posted here about this game, especially since it came out on console. This is easily the best rally game/sim in 20 years; automatically makes everything else obsolete, but in particular, Milestone should hang their heads in shame. Now we've seen how it's actually done, and yet they're still churning out shite like Sebastian Loeb Rally Evo. Well done Codemasters. It took you f*cking long enough, but you got there eventually.

I'm too busy trying to resist sending Codemasters an abusive email about how much more unreliable Racenet is getting! Lost so many stage times recently and it's messing up a few leagues!

Think the Racenet thing is mostly consoles, I haven't had an issue on PC

Got to admit it has helped me a couple times when I have had bad stages, but its bloomin annoying when you can't even sign in to have a go.

Is anyone on Xbox on here? I need some friends....on dirt to compare times with etc. My GT is AllyCummins

    I suck in this game

XB One console... First split I'm 17 seconds behind already if I haven't crash or hit a little bump on the roads edge....

For a while I couldn't stop crashing, usually at high speed and at the slightest hint of a bump in the road or a slight bend. I found the way to learn how to drive better was to go very slowly and upshifting early. I slowly built up confidence but still crash a bit but I am at least driving at full speed now. I also found most cars are very different in driving style to one another - which I like - so I am confident in the Sport Quattro, Quattro Pikes Peak, 405 T16 and less so in the Group A Impreza. Anything else I am still learning, but then why would I want to drive something that isn't either an inline five or an unequal-length-headered flat-four?

I think it depends on a few things. Are you using a racing wheel or a controller? I am using a controller, but have played it on a racing wheel, and the wheel is much easier. Also, the cars are very different, as you mentioned. I have found both Imprezas very forgiving indeed, whereas the Escort Cosworth (which I was looking forward to the most!), is a total nightmare for handling.
