It's all very well being a smart arse (Which you are exceptionally good at). But what other way am I supposed to interpret that?

Erm, because I nominated the 1988-1992 cars as ones to look at for beauty instead of the 2014 mingers?

Well. Clearly nothing more than an unreserved apology is warranted to dj. There's no doubt I was out of line there.
Fwiw. The post came across to me as he was knocking the 88 McLaren and 92 Williams. I for one think last year's Merc was alright. So I didn't understand where he was coming from. It might be meaningless. But as a token gesture, I've gone and liked 20 random posts of his. When I otherwise wouldn't, because they wouldn't have moved me to do so.

1983 Brabham BT52. Simplicity, no windtunnel, designed by ingenuity and brilliance with an eye for aesthetics too. Gorgeous!

The Lotus 79 and Osella'a suggestion of the Brabham BT52. I think the Williams Fw14b/15c are worth a mention. Mayb they're a little plain? Splitting hairs, but I think the FW19 (JV's winner) was the best one.

Those of "questionable knowledge" will be the scientists. You might think that rocket science is hard but: Rocket Scientist: Someone who understands Newton's Laws of motion and basic chemistry....
