I did notice that when I was watching the race on Sunday - didn't help that I was watching on a 4.7" screen, but it did seem that the majority of the cars were a washed out dirty grey colour.
Indeed watching the 1996 race last night one of the best things was McLarens red and white - no reason they can't go back to that! Their silver just looks dull on TV.
