[ARC 2015] A Peugeot 208 "Maxi Rally" for Mark Pedder...
Hi,
I've just read today that Mark Pedder, brother of Scott the 2014 ARC champion will drive for the first time in Australia a 208 "Maxi Rally" from the argentinian Baratec team
Looks like the latest generations of Maxi Rally cars(argentinian rules spécifications)are the same of our "R5" group in Europe(1.6 turbocharged engines)...what are the real technical différences

Development and homolgation of 1.6-litre Turbo direct injection engine is not ready. First rally this season was with 2.4lit Honda engine in all cars.

There's this car going to Australia and another going to Brazil.
It has a 1.6 litre turbocharged engine, that comes from the road versions of the DS3, 208 GTi and also some Minis.
I think the cars will keep the same transmission as previously used.Last edited by Co-driven; 4th March 2015 at 11:58.
