Their "monopoly" couldn't last forever. I hope, instead, that when Citroen will go away, Abu Dhabi will come back to them.

But what status do those BMWs have? They are listed as RC2/NR4. What does that mean? Are they classified among other RC2 cars? Or is it similar to the MaxRally(?) cars at Rally Argentina, that were classified but not allowed to score points?

Yes it's N4, like the Astra OPC.

Cars like Maxi Rally are only authorised outside of Europe.

turbodiesel, so it´s over 2000cm = RC2

These are Group N BMW 120D
Just like for example the Opel Astra.
They are really close to the normal street cars.
