    Motor Racing on Netflix

Hi, I have noticed that there are a few titles on Netflix which may be of interest to you all, so here is a quick rundown of my discoveries so far, those available in the UK have (UK) after them, titles available only on US Netflix will have (US) after them, you can access these titles from outside the US using the Hola! plugin for Google Chrome:

Senna (US) - http://www.netflix.com/WiMovie/70170051 - The now famous documentary film which follows Ayrton Senna's career which ended in his untimely death at Imola in 1994.

Indy 500: The Inside Line (US) - http://www.netflix.com/WiMovie/70305698 - Documentary about the 100th anniversary running of the Indy 500.

The Hunt vs Lauda documentary would make an interesting comparison with Rush

I have to say that comparing the 2 proves that i) the casting and level of design detail (in terms of clothing, sets / locations etc.) in Rush was very impressive. It also highlights the fact that Rush actually omitted one of the most pivotal and controversial incidents of the season when James Hunt restarted the British GP after a 1st lap altercation had damaged his suspension only to be stripped of this victory because he had entered the pits via a short cut after the race had been initially red flagged (through an incident involving the two Ferraris banging wheels triggering mayhem. I think the reason for this is a combination of time, pacing and the fact that it was a political move by Ferrari rather than a personal thing between Hunt & Lauda which is what the story of Rush mainly concentrates on.

Worth pointing out that was actually on BBC4 this past week... and again on Sunday, just ahead of the Jim Clark documentary.
