Good to see Giniel de Villiers in a race.
Will we see him any cross country rally races before the Dakar?

If Hallspeed builds two new Hilux for Dakar 2015, does Overdrive get the 2014 Dakar evo spec (TRD engine and independent rear suspension) for Al Attiyah and another driver?

I'm curious about Trd engine spec, in what it's different from 2013?

Hans Weijs seems to have matured a lot since his last season in 2012. He is currently lying 5th in the championships if I remember correctly. He is not blindingly fast but consistent. Unfortunately the VW doesn't seem to be very reliable either so I'm not sure if that is what the problem is.

Leeroy Poulter is currently leading the championships and only a disaster will stop him from taking the 2014 title, the Toyota is very fast at the moment.

Unfortunately i can't comment on the questions around the Off Road Hilux's sadly I am currently out of the championships so don't have much inside info from the source at the moment.

Reinaldo Varela is using one Hilux in the FIA Cross Country Rally World Cup and brought one tl Brazil for the Rally dos Sertões last month. He told me that it's the same as used by De Villiers on the last Dakar, he already had the latest spec, and I'd bet that we'll also see him in the Dakar with it.
