Corner cutting will be limited on Rally France or you can take a gamble and flatten them!

Bloody hell, what next- this isn't what Rallying is all about!

Indeed - and Kris Meeke shouldn't have been penalised for finding a route that was a fair competition ploy.
Kris Meeke got fired -PSG so terrified they quit!

This is common thing in almost all asphalt countries. Usually it is a precondition from local authorities. Without measures to prevent road damage they often don't allow stage running there. I don't like it either but they are right. The damage to the asphalt roads caused by cutting can be in some cases really huge and somebody would have to pay the repairs.

Strangely for example here in CZ the majority of drivers like that (especially those from down the field who would otherwise drive in completely different conditions than those in front). On the other hand for example in Belgium drivers mostly refuse anti-cutting obstacles.

I noticed the Arab drivers on Rally Cyprus recently were taking huge cuts and nothing wad said...

As for France, those markers dont look right at all.. hay bails with metal inside would be better.

For the drivers counting for MERC, they areallowed by rules to deviate from road (I think for 10metres)
For ERC drivers this is not allowed and Yazeed penalised with 30s at the end, but nothing changed the result
