    no I just had 5 weeks annual leave. Re. the trainee thing, it was discovered by WINZ (NZ's benefit agency who contract us) that the trainee was lying about things, to avoid having to attend a training course and keep their benefit payments intact, so that is all in the past.

    Went today for the passport application of the little one...bureaucracy is truly well and alive in my country - thanks to the Brits (in part!)

    Stupid confusion due to the hospital putting a different name on the birth certificate and all the documents including passport of the missus in her maiden name (which she has kept)

    Contrary to Tazio's complicated reply the reason is quite simple. They not exposed to sunlight as much and we all know you can't grow crops in the dark.
