Apologies, must have misunderstood your quote about the white flashes

Who else thinks he just might as well sit out the remainder of the season? I mean, if he came back, people would probably start accusing him of not caring which would only add fuel to the fire.

Just as I predicted - NASCAR has announced the addition of a new rule following this accident. No drivers can get out of their cars under circumstances like Kevin's situation on Saturday.

That was a good move by NASCAR.

Kyle Larson having to escape from his car because of a fire might have exposed a little kink in the rule. They'll need to address it, because drivers will have to get out of the car asap if it's on fire.

The rules already allow a driver to exit the car if there is fire or he smells smoke or some other issue that requires him/her to exit from the car for safety reasons.

There were something like 28 cars on the track. How do you know that sound came from Stewart's car? Most likely it came from a car that was closer to the person who recorded the video.

Because the noise coincided exactly with the moment that Stewart's car flicked the tail out. Okay it's not 100% certain, but I think that it's more likely to have come from Stewart's car.

Same opinion here. I think it was to avoid him.
