Wales Rally GB moving further North
What's your views on Rally GB using mid Wales stages in 2007?
I think it's the best thing to happen on RGB for years.
Remote servicing in Hafren will allow use of some classic stages for next year. I really hope this happens!!!! pin:

Good for me as I live in North Wales and I hear the mid Wales stages are better
Rule 1 of the forum, always accuse anyone who disagrees with you of bias.I would say that though.

With the return to remote servicing then it makes sense to get some variety in.Also with the much smaller crowds that the event draws these days then there shouldnt be the traffic problems there were when these stages where last used.

Then obviously theres the famous Sweetlamb Hafren. Most of my memories of this stage where when it was run an the dark, most famously the McRae comeback in 95! Amazing atmosphere in the bowl with alot of noise, if you like that sort of thing.
With the likes of Myherin, the hilly Esgair Daffyd, Twyi, Dyfi etc... it's all good............here's a directory of some welsh stages

The main thing the organisers have to sort out is the bad traffic congestion, which was a big problem when these stages were last used in 2000!
This is the proof that it could be done with fans help. When I propose that kind of coverage everyone here completely lose their minds, like always. But this looks great. I think that it could be fun...
