    More problems for the 208T16...

"Siim Plangi’s delay on stage 11 of auto24 Rally Estonia was down to a clutch problem on his Peugeot Baltic-backed 208 T16.
The Sainéloc Junior Team driver, who is competing in the same car Craig Breen used to win the ERC-counting Acropolis Rally earlier this season, dropped from eighth to 10th when the fault occurred 10 kilometres from the finish of the 28.77-kilometre Saku Vaabina stage earlier this afternoon.
“I lost at least a minute, it’s said but there’s nothing I can do,” said Plangi, who is making his debut in the Peugeot on his home round of the ERC. "

Although Kruda's car is still mechanically ok, but he's lost confidence in the fast parts and quite downbeat...

How different are WRC gravel tyres compared to ERC gravel tyres (Michelin)? Could this explain part of the gap between Chardonnet and the top drivers?

I don't think Cardonnet has been on the WRC tyres for the whole rally?

Meanwhile, it sounds as if Wiegand only just changed to the long gearbox and Lappi is still with the shorter gearbox?!

If they don't use them on this rally then when would they use long?

0.1 between 2 and 3, Lukyanuk said he would drive safe to the finish, I can't see that happening...

They didn't use long ones in Acropolis either. In Ypres they did. Strange...

Apparently ERC tyres are better than WRC ones, there are less restrictions in the regulations.

It seems as if the WRC tyres are harder and therefore last longer, but have less grip.
