New Order didn't technically form until 1980 so I'll go with them.

    Pink Floyd?
    Really?
The '80s could arguably be their nadir rather than their zenith.
    Here's their studio discography:

The Piper at the Gates of Dawn (1967)
    A Saucerful of Secrets (1968)
    More (1969)
    Ummagumma (1969)
    Atom Heart Mother (1970)
    Meddle (1971)
    Obscured by Clouds (1972)
The Dark Side of the Moon (1973)
    Wish You Were Here (1975)
    Animals (1977)
    The Wall (1979)
    The Final Cut (1983)
A Momentary Lapse of Reason (1987)
    The Division Bell (1994)

Thin Lizzy, Dire Straits, Eagles, Travelling Wilburys, wrote and recorded an album in two weeks. Check them out on You Tube. Men at Work and the guys that had the hit, Beds are Burning.

I, too, really liked The Division Bell. But we're talking about the 80s here.

Wish You Were Here, IMO, is their best.

Wish You Were Here is the best to listen to but I always think that Dark Side is better as a work of art, a complete piece. I think that Meddle is hugely underrated as well, very few people seem to mention it.
You're so beige, you probably think this signature is about someone else.
