The new format was interesting but I preferred the old system of two weekends. We're probably going to be stuck with this for awhile since the engine makers won't cough up more than 33 engines, so it's best to learn to like it.
The race certainly looks like it's going to be interesting enough.

Times have changed and Indy 500 traditions need to change too if the 500 is to remain viable.
