Superb from Andreas, bit of a shame that Timur got a puncture in the final as could have been a bit closer. Not as exciting as last year's racing but still a good event, as a bit of a Bakkerud fan I'm happy to see him get the clean sweep through Q1-4, SF and Final.

What event were the 6R4s from? It would have been nice to see a bit of that on the TV coverage!

It wasn't a race, just a display by the Retro Rallycross lot. At first it was going to be a race, but then two of the cars hit each other and for the rest of the weekend it was more of a fast parade.

It was always supposed to be a parade: they had a license for demonstration, not for racing!

I'm not convinced by that, the first run was very definitely a race as all cars went off the line at the same time and running very close together. Prior to the contact (I think it was one of the 6R4s that got damaged on the first lap) both Shirley whatsherface and the commentator referred to it as a race, it was only on the Sunday that they said they didn't have a license (I presume they meant MSA permit). Also last year it was very much a race.

Good to see that drivers dare to use the C Segment cartype again, and not only B segment!
