They were originally intending to bring the 208 with them back from Latvia, but then Stephane Lefevbre had an engine failure and fire in the engine compartment on the second day of the rally, and the car was brought back to France for rebuild and a new engine. Steve Røkland will debut his 208 R2 in Northern Ireland. The Fiesta R2 is sold out of Norway. It will be very interesting to follow Steve in Circuit of Ireland, as he has done this rally twice before (both in R1 and R2 Fiestas) and is one of the few juniors with previous experience from irish tarmac.
