    Off topic on...

The first ever Czech vehicle on Dakar, Liaz truck No. 627 from Dakar 85' is going for an expedition trip to Dakar, Senegal. This truck is very famous among Czechs thanks to its plastic model which almost everyone including me had as a child. For me it has another special aspect because I was born during this rally, exactly on the day of special stage Néma-Tichit held on 17. January 85'

Some pics of the truck today: http://auto.idnes.cz/liaz-rally-pari...to_ojetiny_fdv

They want to start on 27th December in Prague, go to Paris and from there to Dakar and than back, all by roads. I don't know exact route though.

Will it be at the Dakar that Toyota implements these new regulations for the first time or did they race in Morocco with the changes?

From my understand the car used in Morocco was a car used in our domestic championship by Leeroy Poulter, i will have to try to find out if the new regulations were in place.

The car used was not the newest EVO version ie change in weight distribution etc.
