Yeah it as good in the first half of the season, but after mid way the opposition were killing them. The 2009 Brawn was a great car early on, but it never really dominated the whole 2009 season.[/quote:2tzignzo]

Not the whole season, but it was so ridiculously dominant early on, they could afford to fade into obscurity in the second half and still win.[/quote:2tzignzo]

True, and it gave Button a WDC which otherwise he would never have won

The RB7 with its double diffusor (triple soma could say) was a very good car, much moore dominant then this years RB9.

The difference is that the other teams are weaker this year!!!

Bad joke IMO. Button won in many different cars, before and after 2009.

I think RB9 is a very dominant car. Their problem in the beginning of the year was that the tires that were holding the car back.

I wouldn't say many.... unless you consider 2 many.

I think the point was that Brawn, similar to the RB now, was the dominant car of the season.

    That's Honda RA106, Brawn BGP 001, McLaren MP4-25, McLaren MP4-26, and McLaren MP4-27.

I'm trying to figure out which "many" cars you are referring to, but can't!!!!! Pre Brawn GP in 2009, Button was an also ran, and he's back to an also ran again.

Only 2 cars besides Brawn, Honda and McLaren

Otherwise the likes of Schumacher won with over 20 cars when he only really won with 2, Benneton & Ferrari

    Re: RB7 versus RB9

As I said, RB7 (2011) was much stronger over the whole year.
