What i would give to be able to stand there and imagine what once was. If i'm not mistaken, this curve is right where the current first chicane is.

It started there, but has pretty much been removed in that area. The bridge before Ascari has the old banking on it, and on the exit of the Parabolica (cool name, somebody should use it as their forum name) is where it re-enters the existing track.

When you stand on it, there is, or was for me anyway, a real sense of it still being an essential part of the soul of Monza. I would hate to see it touched in any way. It simply exudes history.

Vettel and Red Bull were very fast in Canada too, so it is not surprising in 2013 RBR seems to go well on so-called stop-and-go circuits. Whatever the issue was in previous years, they seem to have solved it for now.

Lauda said on Sky that RBR has found something on the mechanical side of the car during the summer break which alows them run with a very low downforce configuration and that in his view is absolute astonishing


Grosjean said that RB found something in the diffuser that is not working in a normal way.
