No S2000 cars in Sardinia and only 5 fiestas in trophy. (0 pieces of FIAT in entrylist, is this rally really in Italy?)

Well, there are all the JWRC crews and many WRC cars, even if not all, unfortunately, due to the too usual budget problems that prevateers have to front....
Moreover there are all the Italian Subaru Cup crews, a very good championship, with a high driver level, and some good Italian young drivers, like Campedelli.
So it's not at all a bad entry list.

The lack of Fiat S2000 cars could sound strange but it isn't as Fiat official team, Abarth, is involved in another world championship, the IRC, and it's not interested in WRC.
If Fiat was interested in WRC, it would have competed in PWRC and not in IRC. The IRC is very cheaper than PWRC and it also allows Fiat to compare its Punto S2000 with other S2000 cars, so Fiat decided to partecipate to that Championship and to use all its economic resources to front the IRC (and the Italian National Championship) challenge.

Looking forward to see both v/d Heuvel and Weijs Jr. driving the whole new Dutch Mitsubishi team. They will drive 6 WRC rallies, starting with Sardinia. Finally some serious initiative from the Netherlands.

At least a good start with the liverie
