The least aesthetically pleasing racing car.

AS a counter point to D-Types post about the best looking cars, what are the worst lookers, the cars that make young children cry just by looking at them

To start the ball rolling here are a few, I'll post images in the next post (I'll be 15 by then )

March 711, Eifelland EF1, Ensign N179, Ferrar Spazza Neve (never raced forerunner of the 312T series), Cosworth F1.

I think someone quoted this earlier, but maybe the picture has been lost.

I still exist and still find the forum occasionally. Busy busy

I don't recall seeing this one.

What do people think? It clearly wasn't a success as Williams replaced the Walrus nose mid season, but I remember quite liking it at the time because it was different.

    This too. The March 711?

I was looking through these cars recently and although its hideous at least you could use it to serve post race drinks as it comes with its own tray.

Like the Ferrari 312's, this March 711 goes to show beauty is in the eye of the beholder - I think both are cool!

    Loved this thread.

Close but no cigar, that is a 1972 March 721 which was for me the most hideous F1 car ever, also amongst it's shortest lived, by mid-season the March 721G was rolled out as a replacement, this was a March 722 F2 chassis adapted to accept a Ford DFV which was adopted by the factory when privateers had done the very same thing (fitted a F1 backend to a 722 tub) and outperformed the works team with their 721s!

Anyone have any idea about this one? It must be one of ugliest cars ever. Don't know if it ever raced?

Bugatti Type 32 "Tank" from 1923. It wasn't particularly successful - 3rd in the French GP which was its only race. The following year Bugatti introduced the Type 35 which was far, far more successful - it is claimed that it won more races than any other car
