It doesn't mean a lot if you are considered as a talent in Germany. Some years ago Mark Wallenwein was a big german rally talent.

it's not difficult to be one of the best in Germany, no offense, but the level in German rallying is very very low nowadays...

wallenwein never was a talent, he has never shown anything, not even in german rallyeing. he was just pushed from the german media, because the name wallenwein is big in german rallyesport, like gassner is. but gassner jr is a much better driver then wallenwein. he was at least fast in germany but international he also wasnt. riedeman was not so fast from the start but became pretty good especially with the fiesta r2 but also didnt manage to impress on international level. meanwhile in the citroen hes not so bad i must say. wiegand had no rallye experience at first but was extraordinary fast in germany. i really believed in him. he was faster then all other german "talents" right from the start. and whats unusual for a german driver is, that hes faster on gravel then on tarmac. but he doesnt really seem to develop and does not impress much, so yes, he´s dissapointing now, or lets say, i didnt expect him to be fast at barum anyway...he has a good speed and is quite consistent but not extremely fast. lappi seems to be a bit of a crasher to me btw.

Lappi and Wiegand have been the most dissapointing drivers in ERC/WRC2 for me in 2013. I was expecting a lot more from them.

Seven out of seven for Kopecky - not bad, although this could be expected. Shame that Tarabus received the penalty, he would be just behind Pech at the moment. And Kresta is in better shape than I thought, nice drive in his last rally (or so he says).
