I don't think Paul being 1.5kg lighter than expected is FI's fault. Mind you, it was the driver, who was lighter than expected, not the car. They weigh car+driver and Paul was missing a few grams.

Sorry DJ, it is 100% the teams fault. They are responsible for sending a package out there that complies with the regs. Every team uses scales to set up the car all the time and to send a car out that's underweight, without the driver having lost a major limb half way around, is their fault.

they are both at fault
the team for not makisng sure the driver is of the correct weight
and the driver not making sure he weighs himself to nkow if he has gained or lost a few pounds as that is critical to the car.
It is probably part of his job to stay within a window and/or inform the team fo changes
andits the teams job to make sure the entire package meets regulation

I agree. Must have been a miscalculation based upon fuel load.
