The trouble is that Ferrari needs Ross as well.

But really, Ferrari will be very successful this year - there is no trouble. I'm not surprised, but I do find it silly that some people make such sweeping judgements after only round 2 of 17.

Well, theoretically Ferrari had trouble in Malaysia even in 2002, but that was because of tyres.
Now they are in trouble. They can fight back, but withour Ross and Michael, it'll be even harder than last year.Formula 1

It would be a good move by Honda, although I also doubt that Ross would be too interested in joining the team. I haven't heard Geoff Willis joining another team - maybe Honda might think about hiring him back? The strong end of last season was still thanks to Willis. So hiring or firing anyone tend to have an effect in half or a whole season.
Interesting that Toyota doesn't have a similar aim. I'm surprised that although Toyota is attempting to hire top drivers, then they are not trying to hire Ross Brawn or any other well-known top specialist... Maybe it takes another year for Toyota to realise that they need an extra guy to get better and they can't do it purely on their own.

Some teams now don't have Technical Directors. Today, positions within teams have become more fragmented for more efficiency, most notably with Williams - Sam Michaels is no long TD, both he and Ron Nelson (formerly Alonso's race engineer at Renault) share the role of a TD but with different roles and responsibilities. The world according to Taki Inoue: https://mobile.twitter.com/takiinoue/st ... 7249326080

Honda are following Toyota (and Jaguar F1) by constantly replacing/changing top personel. At least Toy and Jag weren't going anywhere but Honda seems to do it as soon as they start to have some success.

who wouldn't want Ross Brawn in their team, just look at his track record, the big news would be if he actually took up the offer and worked for Honda, but then the challenge might be just what he needs after years at the top, the battle to get back there might be just what he needs to keep the fire burning
