By the way. I have seen so many references lately to Billy's Missus.

I wondered if many of the younger members actually know he was a real poster. Markabilly.

Knock-on got fed up when a regular banned poster came back trolling and a few here turned on him suggesting he was the problem. I was included in that too if I remember? The banned member then got banned again funnily enough before starting a series of profiles, some of which have also been banned since and now they are using one username and behaving themselves most of the time thinking they haven't been detected. Knockie though is still at large and I am more tolerant and able to ignore

Bernie needs to look here before claiming the future of F1 is on the internet. Considering how quiet a number of the big motorsport's forums are these days, I think the opposite is correct. I'm guessing the loss of so many well known posters from the past here suggests they probably either don't have time for the sports any more or don't wish to discuss it on the internet. I used to post here 10 or more times a day, and those were in the days when I didn't have a smartphone with constant access to the forum like I do now. Life just gets in the way but it's still nice to pay a visit.
