Pickems Rules?
Is there a thread or link somewhere with the Pickems rules? Just curious as here and there I see scoring that makes no sense to me, thus I must not have a complete grasp of the rules!
Being that I am sucking terribly at Pickems, the logical thing to do is to blame it on lack of rules understanding!

I was wondering the same thing a while ago - but lack of understanding/dumb luck, has worked to my advantage so far this year.

Thankfully lack of understanding gives me an excuse to suck to badly at pickems!
TBH I really don't give it much thought.... just sort of wing it without considering upcoming tracks. I just saw some scoring that made no sense to me.

Mark or someone may correct me, but the game is scored on a matrix based on a drivers actual finishing position in relation to your prediction. If you pick someone to win and he wins you get 10 points,if he comes second you get 8. If you pick them second and they finish second you get 9 points, if they win you only get 7, and if they finish third you also get 7.
I believe it is something like this, but the actual scoring may be slightly different:
Top row is actual finish.
Code:~ ~ 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 ~ 1 10 8 6 5 4 3 2 1 ~ 2 7 9 7 5 3 1 1 1 p 3 4 6 8 6 4 2 1 1 i 4 1 3 5 7 5 3 1 1 c 5 1 1 2 4 6 4 2 1 k 6 1 1 1 1 3 5 3 1 ~ 7 1 1 1 1 1 2 4 2 ~ 8 1 1 1 1 1 1 2 3 ¿Quién es el que anda aquí?

What Alexamateo said above - basically, the closer you are to each driver/rider's correct finishing position within the top 8 the better. The matrix posted above is correct.

Sorry I totally missed this thread. Here's the scoring system Pickems Scoring
Apparently pickems suck
Edit: Just noticed that's old. You now get 250 points for winning a round down to 1 point if you finish in 200th place (assuming there are that many taking part!)Please 'like' our facebook page http://www.facebook.com/motorsportforums

Re: Pickems Rules?
Where is the pickems thread for the AGP?
When in doubt, run in circles, scream and shout
Did Jan Solans get 3 points for his 8th place at the end of saturday? Wikipedia and WRC site shows he didn't, eWRC shows he did.
