Great fight on this year Rally Vinho da Madeira! Magalhães entered second day with a strong pace and managed to control a small distance to Nunes, that kept pushing till the last km! Fontes ease up a little bit at the end, in order to guarantee national championship lead. Camacho was always fast, despite losing a well deserve podium finish. Consani got more used to the island roads and climbed to the top 5. Probably due to a broken direction, Moura and his co driver got unhurt from a heavy accident that destroyed his Fiesta in a fast section. This rally proved how R5 cars are easy to adapt, Nunes and Camacho made their first outing, and that there's a balanced performance at this category (in private hands, maybe the Skoda is not so far away). Please FIA, don't change R5 regs!!!
Overall classification:
1. Bruno Magalhães (208 T16) 2:13:08,9
2. Miguel Nunes (Fiesta R5) +5,4
3. José Pedro Fontes (DS3 R5) +12,5
4. Alexandre Camacho (DS3 R5) +53,7
5. Robert Consani (DS3 R5) +1:45,6
6. João Barros (Fiesta R5) +1:52,8
7. Elias Barros (Fiesta R5) +7:34,6
8. Luis Serrado (911 GT3) +7:45,3
9. Filipe Pires (Lancer Evo X) +8:14,7
10. Luis Ramos (Lancer Evo IX) +10:03,8

Nice to see Moura winning after Madeira traumatic crash. Hope he'll be ablle to fight Fontes in the last two national rounds! Nunes was spetacular in Santa Maria. We miss him in Portuguese championship! Torres Fiesta looks great (10:57). His team has done a hell of a job, proving that passion can move mountains (or islands, in the Açores case...)!

Vieira's doing a nice job in his first rally season and for a first outing in a gravel test he's already showing a nice pace! Good luck to him in Mortágua Rally!
